Startup credits
Startup credits are larger blocks of free API or cloud usage granted to eligible early-stage companies through a provider's startup program, typically requiring an application and proof of eligibility.
Startup credits go well beyond a standard trial. Programs such as AWS Activate, Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, and Google for Startups offer eligible companies credits that can run from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars.
Eligibility usually depends on company stage, funding, and sometimes affiliation with an accepted accelerator or investor. You generally apply, get approved, and then receive credits that can be spent on AI services among other products.
